Hasan Halawi and Sultan Al Hameli showed off their dazzling skills at an end-of-season tournament at the Dome@Rawdhat They came together to celebrate the culmination of the latest Streetkings Football Academy in the UAE Capital during a a fast-paced, exciting event at the Dome@Rawdhat, a media release stated. Halawi, a 16 year old American, edged out 15-year-old Sudanese Mohammed El Sanhouri to win the under-17 category. Not prepared to let the boys grab all the limelight, 10-year old German girl Bayan Shalabi was one of the top performers in the under-12 category, eventually losing out to 12-year-old UAE national Al Hameli. The latest six-week Streetkings programme at the Dome@Rawdhat, Abu Dhabi’s landmark air conditioned indoor football arena on Airport Road, taught budding street soccer players ball control, beat moves, positioning and highly-skilled passing. The exciting end-of-season tournament featuring intense two-minute one on-one games, allowed the players to show off all the street soccer skills they learnt throughout the programme. Streetkings was founded by Edward van Gils, the ‘godfather’ of street football and the world’s most famous street soccer star. From khaleejtimes
