Pato in Brazil's Olympic team after Milan all-clear

Alexandre Pato has been called up to Brazil's squad for their friendlies before the London Olympics after the forward's club AC Milan gave him the all-clear on Wednesday. Milan said the 22-year-old had healed from a thigh injury he suffered in April, the latest in the long string of leg-muscle problems that have dogged him over the last two and a half years. Milan centre back Thiago Silva, who has been out of action since 24 March with a thigh problem, was also named in the squad.
