Police foil suicide bombing attempt by woman in Kano

Police on Sunday prevented a female would-be suicide bomber from carrying out an attack at a university in Kano, northern Nigeria's largest city, police said.
"A female suicide bomber was isolated as she was walking towards the gate of the university," police spokesman Frank Mba told AFP, adding that she had hidden the bomb under her "long black hijab".
