
Northern Governor Ali bin Al-Shaikh Abdul Hussain Khalaf Al-Asfoor expressed optimism that the Northern Governorate is capable of attracting investors in the trade, real estate and service fields in the coming period, noting that it is an investment-attracting region according to various indicators. Speaking during a field visit to a number of new investment projects, he said that the Northern City project and its accompanying infrastructure sub-projects, the Ishbiliya Village, the new banks, branches and commercial malls prove the governorate's investment potentials. He pointed out that the building of a new pharmacy in Bani Jamra and other projects such as restaurants in Saar and Budaya can generate job opportunities for local citizens. He lauded the hydroponic projects prevailing in many farms across the governorate are vital ones and contribute effectively to national efforts to achieve food security. He welcomed all kinds of investments in the trade and housing fields in order to develop the governorate.
