
Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Christine Lagarde stressed the necessity to assist Jordan to overcome the consequences of the Syrian crisis , which is a heavy burden on Jordan’s economy. Lagarde said in a press conference hosted by the Central Bank of Kuwait, last night, in response to Petra reporter that ” the IMF reports confirmed the stability of the financial conditions, the economic development in Jordan and its ability to meet the challenges of the heavy burden that faces the economy due to the repercussions of the Syrian crisis, but we are ready to help Jordan to carry these burdens. ” IMF-Middle East Center for Economics and Finance in Kuwait City, a premier training center in the region has been able to increase sharply its training of other Arab League officials .This training is helping to Provide more assistance to alleviate the suffering as a result of the Syrian crisis and its enormous economic impact on the neighboring countries of Syria.
