Malaysia to issue horse-themed stamp, philatelic collection to welcome Chinese New Year

Pos Malaysia Berhad, a postal services company in Malaysia, said here Friday that it will welcome the Year of the Horse by issuing a special stamp and philatelic collection featuring horses. "The stamps and philatelic items will be sold to the public beginning Monday, Jan. 27, 2014," said a spokesperson of the company, adding that the customers and stamp collectors can buy the products at the nearest Pos Malaysia outlet. The horse stamp collection also included two kinds of miniature sheets featuring the horse racing. The miniature sheet with higher denomination is printed with special gold printing and spot varnish. First-day cover and folder will also be available on the first day of the stamp issuance
