Egyptian defence minister, Spanish FM confer on bilateral cooperation

Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi held talks Monday with Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo on means of boosting joint cooperation between the Armed Forces of both countries.
Sobhi said he appreciates the visit of the Spanish delegation meant to enhance cooperation and consultation between Cairo and Madrid.
The Spanish top diplomat said his country intends to start new levels of cooperation with Egypt, which he called one of the most important countries in the Middle East.
He touched upon similar views of the two countries regarding international developments.
