Iraqi FM meets EU Foreign Policy Chief
Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al Jaafari on Wednesday met Federica Mogherini, the European Union high representative for foreign affairs and security policy

Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al Jaafari on Wednesday met Federica Mogherini, the European Union high representative for foreign affairs and security policy, currently on a visit to Iraq.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed ties between Iraq and the EU, regional and international issues of common concern, and the military operations against the ISIS group.
Mogherini reiterated the EU's support for Iraq and welcomed the start of the operation to liberate Mosul, stressing the need to provide the necessary protection for civilians.
