Iraqi Oil Minister Jabbar al Luaibi

Iraqi Oil Minister Jabbar al Luaibi met with Egyptian Ambassador here Ahmed Darwish for talks on means of promoting cooperation in the oil and gas fields.
The Iraqi minister underlined the importance of activating memos of understanding between the two countries in the oil field and widening the participation of Egyptian oil companies in investment contracts announced by the ministry, especially those related to the infrastructure and natural gas.
For his part, Darwish congratulated the Iraqi oil minister on the new post, saying Egypt is willing to increase oil cooperation with the country.
