
King Abdullah II of Jordan met here on Sunday with UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Filippo Grandi, who is currently visiting Amman.
According to Jordan's news agency (Petra), the meeting reviewed Jordan's efforts to host the Syrian refugees.
King Abdullah II expressed appreciation for the UNHCR support to Jordan in this field.
For his part, Grandi, commended Jordan's efforts to hosting Syrian refugees and providing humanitarian and relief aid to them.
Earlier today, Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh, discussed with the UN official bilateral cooperation and the impact of the latest developments in Syria on refugees' hosting countries.
