
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain today received Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of Federal National Council, FNC, and Chairmen of the GCC Shura, Representatives, National and Ummah Councils, who are participating in the 10th Meeting of Chairman and Speakers of Shura, Representatives Councils and National Assemblies of the Gulf Co-operation Council, GCC, countries, being hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During her meeting, Al Qubaisi conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to King Hamad and the people of Bahrain, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress, prosperity and development.
King Hamad also conveyed his greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, stressing the strength of fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples.
The FNC Speaker extended her thanks and appreciation to Bahrain's king, government, people and Representative and Shura Councils for hosting the meeting, and for the generosity, hospitality, pleasant stay and good organisation that contributed to the success of the meeting. She also lauded the positive results that enhance joint co-operation among Legislative Councils to achieve the aspirations of the GCC peoples.
