Mauritanian President Meets Secretary General of Muslim World League

Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz met here with Secretary General of the Muslim World League Sheikh Dr Abdullah bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Turki.

    During the meeting, the Mauritanian President highlighted the importance of the international scientific conference on the "Role of Sunni Scholars in Fighting Terrorism and Extremism," which is organized by Muslim World League in collaboration with the Mauritanian Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Original Education, to increase awareness of the dangers of terrorism and extremism and clarify the true image of Islam and its principles of tolerance.

    Mauritanian Prime Minister Yahya Ould Hademine conferred also with the Secretary General of the Muslim World League, where they discussed joint cooperation and means of enhancing it.
