
Oman's Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yousef bin Alawi bin Abdullah met on Thursday with Tobias Ellwood, the U.K. minister of state for the Middle East affairs, who is leading his country's delegation to the tenth meeting of the Omani-U.K. joint working group.
The meeting reviewed cooperation between the two countries and issues of mutual interest, in addition to political and security developments in the region, Omani official news agency ONA reported.
The meeting also discussed the situations in the region and armed conflicts in some of the Arab countries, particularly the situation in Yemen. The two sides reiterated their commitment to continue supporting friendship ties between them to serve interests of both countries.
