Pope Tawadros receives Togolese president at Cathedral premises in Abbassiya

Pope Tawadros II, the 118th and current Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, received at the Orthodox Cathedral in Abbassiya visiting Togolese President Faure Gnassingbé.
The Togolese president held talks with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Azhar Grand Imam Sheikh Ahmed el Tayyeb and a set of Egyptian officials.
He is accompanied by a high-level delegation including the ministers of agriculture, economy, trade, tourism, housing and health as well as the Togolese ambassador in Paris and the presidential adviser.
