
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, stressed the importance of security in ensuring the stability and development of states, noting that the security cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Turkey is of paramount importance and in the interest of safety and security of the two countries.
This came during a meeting in Ankara on Thursday evening with the Minister of Interior of the Republic of Turkey Suleiman Susilo, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
During the meeting, they also discussed issues relating to the strengthening of security cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Turkey, particularly with regard to the fight against terrorism and response to acts of terrorist organizations and ways to enhance cooperation in this field.
The Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, the Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister also met with Turkey’s minister of foreign affairs, Mevlut Cavusoglu.
The two sides discussed the latest developments in the region, and the position of the two countries towards them. During the meeting, they also discussed issues of common interest between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in all fields, according to SPA.
