
Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi received here UN Special Envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed.
Hadi reitreated keenness on achieving peace according to the Gulf Initiative, the national dialogue and the UN 2216 resolutions.
He voiced sorrow for the stubbornness of the rebels who rejected negotiating with the delegation representing the Yemeni cabinet, adding that they do not care about the bloodshed of the Yemenis and attacking children as well as civilians.
For his part, Ahmed said that the international community looks forward to achieving peace in the violence-hit Arab country, according to the Yemeni governmental news agency.
