Ten people were killed and four were injured when a scaffold collapsed at a Beijing school on Monday morning, dpa quoted state media as reporting.
The accident happened around 8:30 am on a construction site at the capital city's prestigious Tsinghua High School, which is attached to Tsinghua University, Xinhua news agency said.
No teachers or students were injured at the site where the schoolgymnasium was under construction, a school administrator told the Beijing Evening News.
