Two out of the three persons who died in a snow slide in Russia’s Far Eastern Khabarovsk Territory have been identified, a spokesman for the local department of the Russian Investigations Committee told Itar-Tass on Saturday. According to the spokesman, these people are residents of the Khabarovsk Territory born in 1968 and 1965. The identity of the third dead man is being established. According to preliminary information, these four and two other tourists were driving snowmobiles some five kilometers away from the Amut Snow Lake ski base when they were trapped in a snow avalanche. Two persons managed to get out of the snow trap. Reports about the accident came at 09:50 a.m. Moscow time (16:50 local time) on Saturday. Rescuers were sent to the area. They recovered the dead bodies of three out of the four persons. Investigators have launched a probe into the accident.
