At least three people, two women and a child, were found dead due to a blast caused by fire in Lyon in central France on Sunday night, local media reported. The fire broke out in an abandoned factory that was occupied by about 300 Roma squatters, according to the report. The cause of the fire was not immediately known. Interior Minister Manuel Valls had ordered the evacuation of the camp when he visited the site that was installed last October. "These settlements must be evacuated every time they pose a danger to those who occupy them," the minister said. "An ongoing investigation will determine the cause of the tragedy," he added, calling for "dignified solutions in collaboration with the squatters' countries of origin."
