8 killed, 1 injured in south China car accident

Eight people were killed and one was injured in a car accident in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Saturday, local authorities said.
The accident happened around 11:40 a.m. when a truck collided with a minibus with 9 passengers on board on the highway from Nanning to Beihai. Eight people in the minibus was killed and one was injured.
The injured person has been hospitalized, and the driver of the truck is under police custody.
Investigation of the accident is underway.
