Car-bus collision leaves 1 dead, 13 injured in Ukraine

One person was killed and 13 others injured after a car collided with a bus in Ukraine's southern Crimean peninsula, authorities said on Monday. The State Service for Emergencies said the accident occurred on the Simferopol-Evpatoria highway shortly after midday local time Sunday (1025 GMT) when a car crashed into a crowded bus. The driver of the car was killed, his passenger and the bus driver were seriously injured. Some 11 passengers on the bus were also injured. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
