
A Pakistan Air Force pilot has died in an air crash accident near the port city of Karachi, the air force said Saturday. "Pakistan Air Force reports with sorrow and regret that a Mirage Aircraft, while on a routine night operational training mission, crashed 30 miles from Karachi near Gadaap area,"a Pakistan Air Force (RAF) statement said.
The pilot of the aircraft, Squadron Leader Tanvir Ahmed, died in the crash, it said.
No loss of civilian life and property has been reported on ground.
A board of inquiry has been ordered by Air Headquarters to determine the cause of the accident, the PAF said.
