Storm wreaks havoc on Britain, 1 killed

Gusts blown down a tree in London, killing a woman Tuesday morning as heavy wind swept parts of Britain, local authorities said.
The woman died at the scene as a tree was brought down in central London, near the southern edge of Hyde Park, by wind around 11 a.m. local time, according to London Ambulance Service.
A man in his 30s was also injured after a tree fell on him in Belgravia, central London at about 12:20 p.m.
Local media also reported three other people were injured by a falling tree in Southwick, western Sussex, earlier Tuesday, but none was seriously hurt.
Gusts of up to 70 miles per hour have hit the coast of Wales, while a yellow severe weather warning has been issued for Wales.
Around 350 homes in south, middle and west Wales are left without power, some ferry sailings between Holyhead, a Welsh port city and Ireland capital city Dublin have been canceled, while speed restrictions have been set for some roads and bridges, according to local media reports.
Strong wind hit western Scotland, northern and eastern Northern Ireland, northwestern England and northern Wales on Tuesday morning.
Some flights in Heathrow Airport have been canceled. Other British airports haven't reported damages or cancellation, and the train services are still working well.
