
Muscat Securities Market's (MSM) benchmark 30 Index closed marginally up 25.85 points (+0.37%) to 7,079.12 points compared to Thursday afternoon's closing of 7,053.27 points.
The market capitalization was up by 0.41% to OR 15.04 Billion compared to OR 14.97 Billion on Thursday, according data released today by MSM.
The total value of shares 17,624,782 traded today reached Omani Riyals (OR) 5,895,158 a decrease by -62.73% compared OR 15.82 Million recorded on Thursday.
Non-Omani investors bought shares worth OR 300,000 or 5.09% of the total. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors was OR 823,000 or 13.95%.
The net foreign investment on the bourse was down to OR 523,000 or -8.86%.
The bond market registered a whopping increase today. The 6,725 bonds traded today is an increase by 3,133.17% compared to 208 bonds traded on Thursday.
