
Qatar Exchange index picked up 168.46 points (+1.29%) Tuesday to advance to 13,258.42 points at close of trading.
The traded value reached QR 687.016 Billion with a volume of 14,938,110 shares from 8,470 transactions.
The market capitalization reached QR 712,786,750,042.45.
From the 43 listed companies, 26 ended in the green zone today, 16 in red and one remained unchanged.
Except the transport sector index, all sectorial indices ended the green zone today.
Real estate sector indices gained the most, up 68.35 points (+2.37%) to 2,955.61 points. Industrial sector index followed next, up 70.03 points (+1.62%) to 4,402.92 points.
Banking sector index moved up 32.67 points (+1.03%) to 3,204.17 points.
Qatar National Bank (QNB) share moved up QR 3.90 (+2.18%) to close at QR 182.
From consumer goods and services sector, Medicare share jumped +3.06% to close at QR 101 from the previous day's QR 98.
From industries sector, Gulf International Company's share too moved up +3.54% to close at QR 117 from the previous day's QR 113.
Qatari individual investors bought a volume of 7,373,563 shares of 41 companies worth QR 273.991 Million (39.88%).
Qatari individual investors sold a volume of 8,857,427 shares of 43 companies worth QR 375.305 Million (54.63%).
Qatari institutional investors bought a volume of 2,996,434 shares of 39 companies worth QR 148.097 Million (21.56%).
Qatari institutional investors sold a volume of 2,298,614 shares of 39 companies worth QR 111.189 Million (16.18%).
