
Qatar Exchange index continued its good run Wednesday, up 72.9 Points (+0.56%) when trading closed at 13,173.34 points.
The total traded value reached QR 1,008,772,721.53 today with a volume of 23,348,022 shares from 10,050 transactions.
From the 43 listed companies, 30 made gains today, ten moved down while three remained unchanged.
Qatari individual investors bought a volume of 13,093,945 shares of 43 companies for a value of QR 496.057 Million (49.17%).
Qatari individual investors sold a volume of 12,845,050 shares of 43 companies for a value of QR 521.194 Million (51.67%).
Qatari institutional investors bought a volume of 3,281,840 shares of 33 companies for a value of QR 142.646 Million (14.14%).
Qatari institutional investors sold a volume of 4,466,682 shares of 34 companies for a value of QR 190.331 Million (18.87%).
All real estate companies ended the day in the green zone, albeit the change is less than one per cent.
Barwa Real Estate saw a fairly good volume (3,337,776) of share trading.
Dlala Brokerage share spiralled up a whopping 7.56%, up by QR 4.10 to close at QR 58.30. The company is due to announce its first half year results later today.
All transport company shares enjoyed a good run.
Qatar Gas Transport Company (QGTC), which yesterday reported good results in the first half with its net profit up 24% to QR 446 Million compared to QR 360 Million in 2013, gained 3.68% up to QR 23.95 from Tuesday's QR 23.10.
