Tunisian Defence Minister Meets NATO Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs

Tunisian Minister of National Defence Farhat Horchani met here Wednesday with North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy Thrasyvoulos Terry Stamatopoulos , who is currently visiting Tunisia, TAP news agency reported.
The Tunisian Minister stressed the need to develop co-operation with NATO to meet the different challenges faced by the country, calling to learn from the NATO's experience in the fields of training, intelligence, border surveillance and fight against terrorism.
For his part, Stamatopoulos affirmed the organization's willingness to strengthen co-operation with Tunisia in the military field and diversify its fields.
